Fork Oil REQUIRED for Intiminators

Oil*:

Description

Patented Inertia Active dampening for damper rod front forks.  This is the only product on the market that is smart enough to know if the wheel is trying to move or if the chassis is trying to move.  We give you the best of worlds, a more stable chassis and a faster wheel response over bumps.  This product will transform the front of your Bike.

The Intiminator sits on top of your stock damper rod forcing the oil through high quality deflected discs found in top of the line shock absorbers.  When the front tire hits a bump then the inertia of that bump opens the inertia valve instantly allowing for a faster response.
Installation is easy.  Drain the fork oil, remove the spring, drop in the Intiminator, add oil then the spring and away you go.

Sold in pairs.

You will need two quarts of 5 w shock oil.

Intiminators November 27, 2009
Reviewer: Brian Anderson from Calgary, AB Canada
After researching the Thumpertalk/Advrider forums for info on improving my Drs  suspension and ride ability I came across the Intiminators in a thread and decided to take a chance and purchase a pair.  Wow, now when I see washboard ahead on the gravel there's no need to slow down and hold the grips tighter. The bike just glides over like a hot knife through butter to the point I'm not sure I will do any thing else to the suspension! Thanks Ricor for a great product!

Rock Eater November 23, 2009
Reviewer: E Rodriguez from Bronx, NY United States
At first I was skeptical of how much of improvement I could get from these valves but they make a dramatic difference in rocky terrain. I'm able to ride faster than I was previously comfortabe in rock gardens. I dont get the bar deflection I used to get with the stock set-up, that means I'm less tense and less fatigued.

Theres also a benefit of reduced brake dive compared to stock. On the street the bike soaks up NYC potholes with little effort, you dont feel the smaller road imperfections at all.

Considering I saved myself the trouble of removing and drilling the damper rods for an emulator set-up  was considering, these valves are a no-brainer.

Simple Improvement November 16, 2009
Reviewer: John Button from Paso Robles, CA United States
One area manufacturers often save a bit of cost on is suspension and certainly the DR is no exception. A set of Intiminators cleaned up the behavior of my forks nicely. Super easy to implement (pull out springs, drop in Intiminators, refill with provided low viscosity oil) and they work great with the stock springs. The resulting damping improvement makes the relatively soft stock springs work well. That's another cost savings. A good result and a great value!

Intiminators ? nar... Easy rider November 16, 2009
Reviewer: bruce shaw from griffith, nsw Australia
These work a treat both on and off road. Easy to install, no spring change or damper rod mods nessecary. Great on rocky sections of firetrail. Recently spent a long weekend in the twisties with a bunch of Moto guzzi and Triumph road bikes, no problems keeping up. Front end feels planted even with 50/50 tyres.

Love them November 16, 2009
Reviewer: Fran McGowan from Nelson, South Island New Zealand
4/5 because there's always room for improvement.

I'd like slightly more rebound damping without having to mix some 7.5W oil but after playing with different springs and pre-load settings I have to say I love them.
Everyone who has ridden my bike has commented positively and sometime incredulously about the front and the DR owners are dumbfounded. Several friends are now running them in their dual sports.

Stable on the sweepers, supple on the sharp bumps, poised under brakes and brilliant under brakes on steep rocky downhills.

Keep up the excellent work guys.

So when's the rear shock available?
