Intiminators on Transalp |

I come from road/track race bikes and went to dual sports. The TA feels very wavy on the front and unstable when frame is twisted (hard cornering, windy at high speed, over several bumps,...) and with the Intiminators all these seem to almost gone away. Its braking is also more consistent. Great improvement for the money. To get the best of them you only need to adjust spring preload and correct shimmin.

The difference after installing these was pretty amazing. I've used cartridge emulaters from, um, another "well-known manufacturer" on my other bikes but Ricor beats them by far and are well worth the price. Better on dirt, gravel and on the street. Bike feels more stable off-road, cornering on the asphalt is greatly improved and big bumps are no longer jarring. Awesome deal and best bang for the buck!

Had the intiminators in my Transalp for a month or so now. Very impressed with the difference they've made to the comfort of the bike but also the stability. The roads where I live are fairly poor with numerous temporary repairs and potholes etc. also corrugations where the road surface has melted in the summer and then formed ridges... the forks used to jump and vibrate over these surfaces before with the orioginal set up, but with the Intiminators installed the front wheel stays in contact with the road surface much better. Before the bike felt unsteady when cornering on the corners with bad surface, whereas now it feels much more in control. Otherwise the ride is generally more comfortable with the forks soaking up more of the road surface imperfections without relaying them through the handlebars. I definitely feel that the intiminators have improved the stability and comfort of the Transalp and are thoroughly worth while investment.
